SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK                                                                                   

The School of Social Work at the University of Central Florida offers the Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees. Each program is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. The BSW program prepares generalist social work practitioners skilled in the design and delivery of social services across a wide range of practice settings. The MSW program prepares generalist and advanced clinical social work practitioners to engage effectively in clinical social work practice to promote human and community well-being through assessment, intervention and evaluation.

Assistant Professor Kim Gryglewicz will serve on a multidisciplinary team that will conduct a comprehensive review of the circumstances surrounding the recent tragic suicide of a child living in a foster care home in Florida. She will serve at the request of Mike Carroll, secretary of the state's Department of Children and Families, who wrote, "Dr. Kimberly Gryglewicz has been of invaluable assistance to the department in her role as a Principal Investigator for the Florida LINC-Youth Suicide Grant, and her work with the Florida Suicide Prevention Coordinating Council."
