NATIONAL NONPROFIT LEADERSHIP ALLIANCE CERTIFICATION / NONPROFIT MINOR
The National Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Certification/Nonprofit Minor provides interdisciplinary classroom experience and experiential learning opportunities for students planning a career as a nonprofit professional. Students who complete the program requirements will receive a minor and a national certification in the American Humanics academic program.
The course requirements are as follows:
- Nonprofit Alliance Leadership Seminar
- Nonprofit Alliance Internship
- PAD 4144: Nonprofit Organizations
Coursework with the following emphases:
- General Nonprofit Management, Volunteerism, and Human Development
- Planning & Evaluation and Human Resource Development
- Communication and Marketing
- Nonprofit Accounting & Financial Management and Fundraising Principles & Practices
Other Requirements:
- Enrollment in Nonprofit Leadership Alliance National Certification Program (through the national office)
- Attendance at one national Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Management Institute (additional fees)
- Membership in UCF Nonprofit Management Student Association (NMSA)
