About 60 students from UF College of Pharmacy, UCF College of Medicine, College of Nursing and the Physical Therapy Program gathered on Saturday for the fourth annual Teamwork Makes the Dream Work Summit.
UCF alumnus Adam Marek and his family have established the Russ Marek Medical Endowed Scholarship for students in the Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy. He initiated the scholarship to honor his brother, Russ, also known as "Zeke," a man with an indomitable spirit in the face of adversity.
Our new student organization, the Health Awareness Prevention Society, focuses on promoting a healthy lifestyle by increasing awareness of healthy living through education and prevention.

The event [for children with disabilities] was a huge success. We had about 30 children, and the students did a phenomenal job. I'm already receiving inquiries about next year's event.
