Program Curriculum

The Health Science Pre-Clinical curriculum allows students to prepare for multiple careers in health sciences due to its interdisciplinary approach.  The core curriculum provides a foundation in chemistry, biology, physics, and social science. Upper level core requirements focus in areas such as research methods, pharmacology, law and ethics, epidemiology, and pathophysiology. Additional elective courses allow students the flexibility to fulfill required pre-requisites for their chosen graduate and professional programs.

Courses in the Health Science Pre-Clinical curriculum prepare students for advanced studies in both clinical and non-clinical fields. Students should determine their interests in graduate education as soon as possible upon entering the program to ensure their inclusion of pre-requisites for graduate and professional programs in their course of study.

Students are expected to have access to a personal computer and their Knights Email in order to interact with the instructional faculty. Many of the curriculum required courses are offered web-based as well as face-to-face.
