Community Involvement

Students in the DPT Program at UCF are actively engaged service opportunities throughout the immediate community and beyond.  Community service opportunities include the Disney Marathon, Special Olympics, Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk, and many others.  These opportunities are diverse affording students plenty of options for participation in an area of interest. In addition, each year a team of students travel to Kingston, Jamaica to deliver equipment and serve children with special needs in group homes.  This opportunity to experience third world conditions is an invaluable learning experience.
