Service-Learning Papers

About Service Learning
Scholars from multiple disciplines have suggested that universities have civic obligations beyond classroom teaching and preparing the next generation of leaders, managers, and entrepreneurs. This is perhaps more true for programs in public administration and public affairs.

The CPNM works to provide opportunities for faculty and students to work  collaboratively to help meet real needs of government and nonprofit agencies in Central Florida, to strengthen communities, and to enhance lives. These opportunities not only provide needed service to the community, but they help develop students through experience and structured reflection.

Below is a sampling of service learning reports generated from some of our classes. If you are interested in developing a partnership with CPNM for service learning opportunities, please contact us.
