ABOUT THE GRANT
The Center for Community Schools will award implementation
grants to three (3) Florida community schools to support the
operational phase of community school development. The 2015
Florida Community School Implementation Grant will help to address
critical education and community needs by improving the quality of
elementary and secondary education and helping all children meet
challenging academic achievement standards through a community
Implementation grant priority will be given to the three (3)
funded FY14-15 Community School Planning Grant
Awardees: Gulfside Elementary School, Endeavor Elementary
School and C.A. Weis Elementary School. Others will be
considered only if funding is available after the other three are
reviewed and funding decisions are made.
Grant applications require responses to four detail categories
(Committed Partnership, Project Details, Goals and Evaluation,
Diversified and Leveraged Budget).
Intent-to-Apply form. Schools must complete and submit an
Intent-to-Apply no later than Friday, October 16,
Feedback form. This form will serve as a guide to grant
reviewers and will frame applicant feedback.
