Gov. Rick Scott has appointed Debra Knox, clinical educator and
coordinator of the Board of Clinical Educators for the
Communication Disorders Clinic, as a member of the
Florida Coordinating Council for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Knox will serve on the 17-member council for four years,
contributing her expertise in cochlear implants, hearing aids,
hearing disorders and language disorders to assist the nearly 3
million Floridians affected by hearing loss.
